Apple leather — the plant-based hide.

Leather without the cow. This collar is made from apple leather — a plant-based hide pressed from the pulp and peel left over by the cider and juice trade. It looks and ages like fine leather, softens with wear, and carries none of the plastic of a coated webbing collar. British handcrafted, PETA-approved.

Material: Apple-leather (plant-based), metal hardware. Care: Wipe clean.

Finding the right size

Wrap a soft tape measure around your dog's neck where the collar naturally sits, then slide two fingers underneath — that's the fit you want. If your dog is between sizes, size up.

• Slim small / Slim medium — a narrower strap for small and toy breeds
• Medium / Large — the everyday width for most medium and larger dogs
• Extra large — for broad-necked and giant breeds
